This weekend my kids small parochial school is having their annual Cow Plop and Car Show. They grid off a large field into 3' squares. A "deed" for each square costs $20. They send a cow out into the field. If she drops her first chip on your deeded square, you win $1000.
They also charge a small fee for the classic cars to enter the car show, and they have family games and food. It's a pretty fun day up here in hooterville. :-D
What's great about this fundraiser is the up-front costs are minimal and you're not selling crap--just the oportunity for crap to land on your space. :-D
