Other than the local cache of Elf oil I discovered over the weekend, I believe Elf Excellium has completely disappeared from the market. The Elf website stated all Elf branded oils would be renamed to Total, so perhaps the "GM Approval" arrived so close to the re-branding that it was not worthwhile to update labels and website for a soon to be discontinued product.
Glad to know we now have at least three "Approved" choices for 9-3SS/SC/'vert oil: Mobil-1 0W/40, Total Quartz Energy 9000 0W/30, and now Castrol Syntech 0W/30.
BTW - Is this German Castrol only, or does it include the North America blends?
