I got a 12" wide roll. No problems cutting or sizing it - just made a thin cardboard template from a spare light and cut two pieces. No other chemicals - just a thorough wash + dry before application. I waited 2-3 days after polishing & cleaning just to be certain. It comes off pretty easily with an xacto and the adhesive removal chemical... I tried on a spare light. Quite frankly, I don't care if it ever comes off - I feel like I'm getting two+ free additional years out of lights that would otherwise be thrown away. I'm not willing to use those autozone-bought "headlamp polishing kits" that need to be redone every other month. Same goes for the bulbs - who cares if they last half as long? They're cheap. I haven't experienced that - same Silverstars have been in there for three years, but if they failed I wouldn't care.
