IMHO the BBS RK II are beautiful wheels, esp good looking on ark colored cars.
I refinished mine, no curb rash but the clear cot was failing to some degree on each of them. I took them apart, took the pieces to a local powder coat shop. they stripped, sand blasted and powder coated the parts. Then I re-assembled. The cost was ~600. The results were stunning.
the key is to find a very high quality powder coat shop.
you could certainly repair the curb rash yourself once striped, or have a wheel shop do that before the stripping.
I have also heard of "wheel guys" that can do a decent job for ~$100 per wheel ("wheels america", etc). However I would not recommend that on the BBS two piece but it's an option.
