and although the 740 handles better, its ride with the 18 inch wheels was harsh for a vehicle that costly. I also got stuck in 2 inches of snow on my brother's driveway, traction control and all! I honestly find the Seville SLS to be a more pleasant drive than the S-Class (which felt like it had a big butt), although I only took that for one lap at a track. I had the SLS for a week and a half of real living while I had the 740 for a whole weekend.

I'm still not sure how many of you that comment about the Cadillacs have actually driven them. Big cars are boats only if they wallow with a marshmallowy ride as far as I'm concerned :-) Many magazine articles have praised the handling of the Deville DTS so I'm not alone. The DHS is intended for the more traditional Cadillac customer. No car division in its right mind would abandon a loyal customer base like that just to please Euro car owners.

As for the CTS styling, it was originally inspired by the Evoq concept car and the Escalade was the first Cadillac to employ that style. No matter what you might say, the CTS turns heads.

An Aero is not intended for the same customer as an STS. When you guys all get to drive a CTS then you'll stop generalizing about Cadillacs.
