My opinion is 4 snow tires. There is nothing worse than having chains on the front of a front wheel drive car, or snows only on the front. The ride is rough w/chains, and the rear end swings around when you have to brake in either case. If you are traveling in WYO in the winter pay attention to the weather reports and have some survival gear in case you get stuck (sleeping bag etc.). The state will shut down the highways during storms with all the gates they have going across them. The wind is a big problem there, it will pile the snow up into drifts that I have seen 10' to 20' high. It pays to be prepared!
