Get out and get yourself a copy of Elizabeth Kubler-Ross' book
"On Death and Dying". Short of that, get over to Google and get on Ross'
website fast. This is the seminal book on stages of dying, which needs
to be done with dignity. Expect anger and rejection from your grandmum
first. Work through that. You have an opportunity of a lifetime here
and will become a better person for this if you work on it.
The experience cries out for people willing to extend to the dying
some dignity and respect. Too bad you're at such a distance. After a
bit, there will be a celebration of her life. Death and life are
inseparable.
