Usually straight diesel won't atomize properly in a carb. With newer cars my biggest concern would be damage to the catalytic converter. Diesel has more sulfur and produces more carbon (AKA particulate emissions) that could clog up the cat. Diesel or Kerosene in a gas engine will make it run hotter due to a slower burn. this could do some damage long term.
