I wired up the head unit to the stock wires that were there originally (i've never had problems with this head unit before.. it's been in there for a while).
When I connected the amp, i ran a power wire to the distribution block on the right fender and the ground wire runs to the ground point under the rear floor by the spare tire. My other amp is grounded under the rear seat to a crossmember. I drilled a hole and sanded off the paint and bolted it on there. I read that amps should be grounded to the same point for less noise, etc... although they are both grouneded to the bottom sheetmetal of the car. Maybe grounding at the same point will help. I'll check everything to make sure nothing is making contact where it shouldnt, but i was very meticulous with the install. Thanks :)
