I have a 96 9kcse with the JT 3" all the way. Other than fitting issues I recommend it. You really don't need to spend a lot of $$$ to get the 9000's working right. I would suggest keeping your turbo stock until it fails then going with a T25/28 upgrade or even a T28 complete in your housing, I think Jak is working on that. Your software upgrade will adapt. Do the airbox mod, do a search on this site for that, easy fix too. I would go with a stage 4 ecu though. THe MBC's are fine but the tuned ecu will give you more engine protection. The stage 4 will make you smile and is well worth the money spent. So basically exh and ecu, your car will fly. 309 crank hp...well using a slightly larger turbo, so it would be a bit less...
take care
