alright I am retracting the last post. These wheels are bent, and according to the first rep from tire rack I spoke to I am not the first to complain about it. I fought with Customer service until they agreed to send me 1 wheel no charge and send pick up tags for 1 of the 3 bent ones to determine if it is actually bent. The Sport Editions do not need the rings according to them. So, I suspect that will be the case for you as well, good luck.
