The Hunter GSP9700 has fixed many viggen wheel vibration problems that other wheel balancers can't. It is a ground force balencer that applies pressure on the wheel to simulate ground force. It has solved a problem on my wheels as well. I buy tires from a shop that has one of these and chose them for this reason. Having access to one of these machines is a nice option.
Give it a try before you have any mechanic try to sell you something else.
