LPT rings? SOS

I just converted my 87 900s to LPT this past week. I Got the timing and boost set. Now, I think I broke it...
So, there is smoke that comes up out of the oil dipstick gooseneck. The intensity of the smoke increases with engine speed. I have not seen any nasty smoke coming from the exhaust, no blue and white or anything that indicates a blown headgasket. It seems to be getting worse, but it might just seem that way 'cause it pisses me off. I had to adjust the idle a tad to keep the rpms from dipping out, and have burned up oodles of oil in the past few days. Does it sound like the piston rings are shot?
87 900LPT (looks like cheech and chong are under the hood)
