I wish I had a way to limit the first gear. In first gear the car last only a second manybe two it is almost nonexistant. Second gear the car tears off with a 1.5 bar but traction may also depend on the tires. In third the car is gone. Next thing you know you are looking at 110mph. This is when I start to slow down.
I do not have the Eibachs or konis just the viggen rescue pack. I would imagine your cars traction would be much higher with your springs and shocks. Unfortantly my car breaks traction if pushed all at once in third gear. I also can keep up with a stock E36 M3 in fifth gear without down shifting. If you want to just walk by a M3 down shift to forth and wave good bye. I have not dynoed the car but it has enough torque to be put in fifth at around 40mph with no driveablity problems.
As far as the tranny it needs to resealed. I also plan on changing the clutch at the same time. I just do not have the $1k right now. The car has over 70k on it and the Saab mechanic can not say if it needs to be resealed due to the performance upgrades or from just age until he looks at the tranny. I hope this info helps George. I will try to keep you posted.
