These truly are amazing engines! I don't lean on my C-900 too hard as it's a rare Euro '90 1/2 Aero model that I just use for creating trick C-900T parts with. My 9000 Talladega on the other hand has seen boost levels that no one here would believe for 203,000 miles so far and still goes like hell, way less trans worries than a C-900. These pre-'94 engines will take lots of punishment if the tunning is right and especially if the APC isn't allowing detonation. Erik P's APC's that I use work on a strictly knock sensitivity principal which is why I haven't lost any pistons so far in any of my early Saab turbo's. Also a properly reworked ignition module can make a big difference, just tweaking the stop doesn't correct the curve like the ones Brad and I (A.I.D.) do. Anyway as MS says do be careful with your trany! Dave
