In addition to what the powercurve looks like there is also the issue of what engine is being used. The top 3 cars were either 2.3L or 2.5L motors & I am not sure what the 4th place car had. Jak's car I beleive is only 2.0L & considering he's only been messing with Trionic stuff for a few years he did VERY well!!
Ed did a awesome job with the dyno challenge especially with the limited time everything was organized!!!
That being said I personally prefer how it was done last year where the smaller motors (like 2.0T) were in a seperate class & then they showed the overall winner. This year with the limited number of contestants it wouldn't of worked out with the low number of contestants. However in the future there could be classis including C900, NG900/9-3 2.0T, all 2.3t+ motors or however they could be grouped.
to me it wasn't a tuner challenge but a dyno challenge :)
