The way I have heard it explaned is that there are two schools of thought on the header and one is the equal length pulse tuned header and the other is the shortest possible route to the collector is best. Long equal lenghth pulse tuned runners vs. short runner style. Not sure which is best, but you hear more about the pulse tuned, but that may just be marketing?
