I have noticed everyone gives different vacuum #'s for their cars. I think it has a lot to do with the different and cheap gages we use. I have read as much as 7psi different on gages and vigge posted on this a while back, 10 different gages and almost as many different readings!
Another point is that assuming your vacuum lines are not leaking, how is the bpv? The other side is how well is your pvc system working and has it had the update? The individual compression of the engine may also play into the different readings, but I would guess most is due to the inaccurate gages. I run a catch can, but I run with my current gage around 16 #'s of vacuum at idle and around 11 #'s at idle with the heat on and 18-20#'s under hard deceleration. Good Luck, John
