um... I'll be the first to chase Seth around the paddocks with a tire iron. ...And on that day when the lynching party finally forms, I'll supply the pitch forks, the beer, and the chips.
But lets martyr Seth for the right reasons.
Young Seth brought up a simple and valid point about the stock td04 turbo as it is being used in this application. He actually did a very good job of explaining this point calmly and succinctly (God help me I hate him for that).
Jak, a good guy and friendly tuner, after briefly threatening to defend his own knightly honor with a swift bit of misplaced lawyering, clarified the situation by explaining that the tune was indeed something he would not recommend based on the hardware in use.
Once this fact came into play the conversation turned into much more of a "I'll blow up my car if I want to"
Maybe if Seth had left words like "Jak" or "tune" out of his little discourse, we would not have all of these "enlightening" posts to sift through. Dealing more blandly with the facts at hand, someone might have dropped a link to an efficiency graph or two. Some of us might have been able to say "I've learned something here today."
Thankfully, this was not the case and we got to reach down deep and throw a few handfuls of our own pooh at Jaq and at Seth and at anyone that wants to use reason, experience, and logic to build better machines. ...To create a world where, monster, sleeper, SAABs, pass after pass and lap after lap, destroy and crush the hopes and dreams of (mitsubishi, subaru, honda, corvette) owners everywhere.
You see people... I have a dream... ...a dream where our saab tuners are not judged by the psi of their boosting but rather by the content of their closed loop architecture...
This can really only be solve one way. That way is The Octagon (thank you john stewart).
I realize that some of our Jak fans may be worried but I say have no fear. Remember that Frank has extremely skinny legs. ...Silly little swedish legs...
Oh, John, if you don't want to play nice with young Seth using your words, Ive got a really great game I like to play with a tire iron.
