*** My oppinions reflect my interpretation of what this community represents, and why I contribute and maintain a presence in it.***

If you have not already read this (which I feel is entirely possibly, since this appears to be your first post here), read:

You need to read this thread, and come to the conclusion that we (the Saab Performance Community) all know and accept:

1) There is a very limited supply of performance for these cars worldwide, even more limited here in the U.S. (judging by your grammer, you are not Swedish).

2) We, as a Saabnet Performance Community, know, respect, and appreciate what Jak does for us. We do not like new-comers flaming him.

3) Tuned cars are more likely to exhibit mechanical, electrical, or other failures, faults, or problems, for the simple fact that many of the originally equipped parts are not switched out to accomodate the additional pressure/temperature/torque/driver abuse that comes with a tuned engine.

4) The simplest answere is usually the correct one. That means check the cap, the ground points, the spark plugs (there are threads that stick out in my mind of respected posters with lots of experience [me included] chasing around a high boost miss for weeks before discovering that an electrode had melted off of the tip on the plug).

5) Do not jump to conclusions. Cars are machines. They follow all rules of logic and probability, no exceptions.

6) If possible, work backwards from when the problem started occurring.

7) I have been running one of Jak's C900 chips for two years. I have had no running issues related to it. It idles perfectly. It runs like stink. There are hundreds of other people here, and elsewhere, who have had the exact same results. Bad batches will eventually (again, pure probability) slip through, but the post was not "this problem started when I installed 'X' performance part." Reflect that in your oppinion.

8) We are here to help and support each other. You did neither in your post.

9) No-one wants to see this forum over-run with rampant and flagrant name-calling, flaming, and building up of egos (since we are ALL experts on the internet) like I see in so many Saab*link/DSMTalk/StreetFire forums. This is a very mature, thought provoking, and courteous forum. I come back every day for that reason. Other notable ones are FSAE.com, SportsRacer, and 10/10ths for DSR and sports racing and fab.

10) I do not want to see another 'Misfire Issue' thread grow out of hand again.
