are these injectors OK?

I am preparing the engine of my 1987 900 T16 (LH 2.2 without lambda) as follows:
- new +1mm pistons
- 2.3 head which 1985 exhaust cam
- light fly wheel
- rising rate fuel pressure regulator
- 9-3 viggen turbo (hopefully)
I have put in red injectors but I heared they might make the engine run too rich at idle. I asked SD for a new fuel prom but they say following:
"A fuel EPROM will not allow for additional fuel support when under full throttle as this is a fuel injector max. duty cycle condition. Only injector sizing or additional fuel pressure can aid a max. duty cycle condition and the fuel EPROM would only be of any support with regard to any pre full throttle conditions. The LH 2.4 is a better candidate for fuel EPROM as we can eliminate the overboost protection through ECU. On 2.2 LH, overboost is a mechanical switch which can be easily bypassed."
My questions:
1. I don't need another fuel EPROM, even not for running at idle? Will I get problems running too rich at idle?
2. where is the mechanical switch located to bypass overboost? Is this adaptable or just on and off?
