I'm not sure about the speedparts FPR but I've made the ones I build so that the rise in rate is adjustable as well as (of course) the base adjustment is. What I like about a rising rate FPR is not only do you get more fuel as the boost comes up right when you need it but you have less fuel pressure at idle which happens to work just right with my favorite 34 lb per hour injectors and the original fuel chip now that my rise in rate is adjustable and incorporates a one way valve (to make the idle fuel pressure remain the same no matter where I set the rise in rate). The BEGI ones also have a rise in rate adjustment but they're an ad on and I don't like all of the extra plumbing especially in an early Saab application. Both a properly reprogrammed chip and a fully adjustable RRFPR work but an adjustable FPR is a big variable that most don't want to have to deal with plus JAK has gone through all of the trouble to make fuel chips for both the LH 2.2 and 2.4 cars that work great.
