saab people that defended us. After reading that thread i scrolled down and relized one of two things:
1. Other bulletin boards SUCK compared to this one!
2. Well...i guess that is about all i learned from it!
I did however learn that i can chip my turbo for $500 and make 40-60hp. At least he defended the SAAB name, below is Bob's thread.
Even a stock 9-3/900 is faster than a stock Max from 0-60, in the 1/4 mile, and has a higher top end. Above 30 mph the saab will absolutely wail on you as the turbo cranks up. Check http://www.autosite.com for some numbers. A Viggen is even faster, and many saab owners "chip" their turbo and get an extra 40 to 65 HP, depending on model, for a measly $500 to $1K chip buy.
No offense, I own a Max too, but it's no match for a saab turbo that really wants to go.
Saab Power,
Chris C.
