an ECU to the UK for programming and then sends it to you when he gets
it back. Depending on the exchange rate it is cheaper to send your ECU
to Abbott UK yourself. I saved almost $150 USD by sending to UK.

I have had an Abbott box for over 20K miles, no problems. I have no doubts
that their HP claims are correct. I have had my Aero dynoed and it achieves
220 HP at the drive wheels.

But, as Karl says, Abbott choose to modify the base boost in their design.
Other tuners can get similar HP without changing the base boost, leaving
the original boost control system intact. It's probably a better way to go.

Karl's advise regarding exhaust and intake are good. I have a 2.5 inch
cat-back exhaust system. K&N filter and a modified air-box.

Abbotts software is not bad, but there are probably better s/w available
from Swedish tuners.
