Beaudreau is right...NA cams are fine in a turbocharged S. I have NA cams in my LPT project with no problems. I have said this before, but might as well say it again now: The exhaust cam is identical (unless you are talking about '85 cams). The turbo intake cam has 12 degrees more duration. While I *may* swap a turbo intake cam into my LPT, just to see and because I can, I have not had "serious problems" (or any problems) with my car. 15.5 in the 1/4 mile and 28+ mpg are not problems. If you have had a specific experience with NA cams in a turbo car, please share here and be very specific about the year of your engine and the cams you used/had trouble with. Thanks.
