I live at 6,500ft in CO, and most of my Saab driving (at least the fun stuff) goes up from there. There is about 16% less air pressure and a corresponding similar loss of power in NA motors at this elevation. I know that a bigger turbo in most cases gets you more top end, but that spool up takes longer. At elevation, however, does the reduced ambient pressure allow a bigger turbo to spin-up faster due to less air resistance? Or does the less air make it take even longer?
