I've got a K&N in the fender well, gutted cat, no resonator, 385 cc/hr inj.'s and a "Mystery APC" that lets it boost well into the 22+psi range. On a normal day that's all the way over in the red zone, a good day (cool, good gas), it'll go way past the right side of red, no miss, no nothing, just sreaming. I can see 20psi up to 10,000ft. Above that elevation the straight sections of road get real short. There is a noticeable diff in the time it takes to build boost the higher you get, and I quess my question was if a larger compressor wheel on the same turbine would help, or would it take even longer to come onto power? In reality this is hypothetical for now, my main problem is heat buildup on long climbs.
