look at the stats hmmmmm
GS-400 according 1/4 mi in 14.6 sec
viggen 1/4 mi 15.0
9000 aero 14.8-15 depending on year
C900 SPG 15.3-15.7 depending on year
so are you saying that it's impossible for a saab to beat you GS even though a viggen is only .4 sec slower in the 1/4 mi & has it's power limited drastically in 1st & 2nd gear? Take the cars in the 50-70 range & my guess is the GS would not be any quicker then the viggen or a 9K aero.
Also, if you like the generic boring feeling you get from the lexus, more power to ya! For me they are just way to generic & have no personality/character. From what I see, the saab develops very similar performance #'s from HALF the # of cylinders!
I also beleive you are comparing cars which were priginally designed in the 70's & 80's (when C900's & 9K's were originally prodiced) so for your sake, I would hope the GS would be a LOT more refined.
I personally enjoy the not-so-perfect feel of my saab's :o)
just remember, the C900 dates back to the 70's when they were first introduced & were derived from a 99 while the 9K was introduced in 86. Lets see, that's like 15-20 years NEWER chassis/motor/etc design!
Where do you live by the way? I am in Ohio & would be morte then willing to drive a few hrs to a race track to show you what the bumper of my 2 SPG's look like :o)
