Fast, reliable non-Saab?

I've owned Saabs for a long time. I love the cars, and currently own 3 (2xC900, 1x9k). I was driving along today, and I suddenly realised, I need a faster car.
The Saabs will always stay, there's no question of getting rid of them. But I need something seriously fast. I know there's the option of modding my 16vT, but I don't want to go down that rod, for various reasons (tranny being one of them).
So, the question is this. What car would you buy if you wanted speed (0-60 < 6 sec), good handling, and reasonable reliability? In addition, it has to be under say £5000 ($7500), and no US cars (parts are not easily available in the UK for most of them).
TIA
