if running well/properly at 15 psi, could set dawes type for say 10 psi and retain most of apc-knock function. Should help quicken spool-up. Do not use the tiny vent thing that comes with it if used in line with apc sol-valve.
IC pressure drop:
This brings up an interesing exp't. Set mbc to say 13 psi, if u know knock will not occur there. Assume u use compressor nipple for signal. Disconnect elec connector to sol-valve. Measure boost at manifold, wot at 5500 rpm. Then, temporarily retro stock IC (vs 9000 in now)and repeat test. Lower boost would confirm lower pressure drop with new IC, and more efficient use of the turbo, and somewhat higher VE (less backpressure).
