That is how it should work in principle. But the MBC orifice and the BPC orifice will both be leaking to atmoshpere. So I don't know what the overall characteristic will be. It will cost you $35 to find out!
As for the relief valve configuration of the other post... There still needs to be a bleed down leak some where or the relief valve would tend to pump up the wastegate. So there is some further inderstanding required.
If a relief valve was placed between the turbo compressor hose barb and the BPC valve, that might work well as the BPC will provide the bleed down. Perhaps this is what the other post was saying and I missed it. This relief valve could be a dawes MBC with its bleed orifice plugged. The orifice could be pluged in varous ways I guess, including soldering it. I have not handled one of these. Further reading of Alex's post makes me think that this is what he has done.
