OK...so i drove one the other day and im hooked. Ready to buy...as son as i sel my other cars.

i drive a honda right now that it thoroughly modded...did all the work my self...and im excited to get into the Saab. I would like to know what sort of modifications are most benificial for these machines. I.E. how much boost can the stock internals handle...i know that the direct ignition system probably helps alot in that area.

a few other ?'s

How much boost does a 99 9-3se (manual trans) generally make?

Whos' vent to atmos BOV is constructed the best (and sounds neato too)

Will a MBC be beneficial? from what ive been told on the 9-3 board, since ill have the manual trans the MBC will simply help to eliminate lag and taper (if lag and boost taper are the same thing please let me know...they sound very similar)

What do i need to be afraid of? Are there any major things that i need to look out for in this car that i would not have had to worry about durring the time ive spent modifying hondas acuras and VWs?

last but not least....does any one live in the DC metro area? Im in Bethesda and could use some one knowledgeable to sit down and chat with. I would be more than willing to take a group of intelegent Saab enthusiasts out for a sushi dinner and a few cocktails in return for useable information....sushi is easy...i bartend at the best japanese restaraunt around.

sorry for the long post..but im ready to start working on this thing and need some vital info.

DC-ers email me if you would like to take me up on my offer.
