Clutch on AERO and softer ride??? Posted by Carlo [Email] ![]() ![]() |
Ok, before you start flaming me and laughing out loud... I've had my '94 AERO since Jan '96 and I love everything about it but I just started a new job and I'm now a "road worrier" on the god forsaken freeways of LA. Great performance, gas mileage and comfort but I'd like a softer ride.
I have taken my 205x55x16 tires down to 32 psi, I have my front Konis adjusted to max soft and I have Bilstiens in the back. The ride is better though I've thought about putting CSE springs on the car (stupid?)?
As far as the clutch, I have 147k on the car with the original clutch, I had a small hint of slippage the other day and the pedal has begun to "stick" near the bottom of travel. It will pop up immediately though. No fluid leakage. I was told it could be the signs of wear on the pressure plate spines...
Thanks and BTW, you guys really know your shit!!!
