... the Abbott spring/Koni combination is much more comfortable than the standard Aero ride, even though it is quite firm. I was surprised at this on my '96 Aero. The Aero was known for having a "crashy" ride.
I have heard that Bilsteins are very harsh, and harshness at the rear seems to make quite a difference to the ride, especially with no load in the back. I currently have my Konis at the rear set a bit too hard, and it is quite noticeable. However, adjusting them requires disconnecting them and I haven't got round to it.
