the wolf system replaces the stock ecu. it can be programmed using a laptop and the memory card, or by using the hand-set in the car.
don't get me wrong, upping the boost, imho, is easy to do. crank in the wastegate, crank up the apc, and retard the hell out of the timing. when i first got the msd btm, i found that i could easily see 20+ psi on the gauge, but it didn't give me any real power. problem was, timing was too retarded. now with the max retard set about 11-11.5 dbtdc, power output is much higher. however, timing is only one part of the total situation, and it does not address the fuel issue. any idea what your max retard at 28 psi is? that is quite high. i imagine if you have everything dialed in, you are putting quite a bit of power to the ground. also, any idea what your fuel ratio is when you are at 28psi and about 4500+rpm? you running water?
anyway, if you go to the wolf website, you can find all the info. seems like a great, user friendly system. plus, it's not much more than i have already spent on gadgets trying to fool the stock ecu. :)
