Saab convention race track worries (long)

I just got the nines magazine and in there are the details for the SAAB Convention, including the track details.
It really does look like fun, however there are some thoughts going thru my head. It seems as if there are a number of people on this Performance BB have something to prove. I'm not bringing my car on the track to show off or go faster than the next guy. I'm bringing my car so I can push it to my driving limit and get more experience driving the car fast.
I do not want to put my car in danger because some idiots are driving stupid with something to prove.
Two years ago we had a similar event with No trouble. Skip Barber did a superb job in training everyone how to drive the track, how to stay in control and only allowed passing on the straight. This made it fun and I was never worried about some moron trying to pass me around a turn and losing control right in front of me!
I'm just wondering what other people's thoughts are about this subject.
