But is it a full on race, or is it supposed to be educational & fun? I agree completely that it is moronic to bring grudges out on a race track full of street cars. These are not race cars per se, since most folks here use them to get to/from work or just aroud town. I'm hoping to bring a fully race prepared vehicle (if we get done in time). I will definitely NOT be driving my street car on the race track if the goal is to see who can end up in the wall first. More likely than not, some idiot will "have something to prove" and get himself into trouble with another driver, leading to an accident for an otherwise uninvolved third party.
I'm no professional driver, either (though I'd love to take a class). I feel like I am well aware of my vehicle's capabilities and limits; I wish I could say the same for others here as well. I'm 23 yrs. old, BTW. :)
I share your hesitation.
