that apc boxes do have memory my 85 apc does not for sure infact that is the reason I modifyed my box rather than fitting a later box & modifying it but I hear from a few people that after a hard ping is detected that it takes about 10 minutes or so before full boost comes back.I know LH does not have memory for sure.but I think digifant & motronic do or at least have OBD
like I said I havent driven a car with a later box so I dont know for sure but this is what Im told & by people who I feel know
I would say that the reason that it takes a while to tegain perf after runing crapy fuel is because it takes a while to get all the old fuel out
you know 1 QT of dirty oil + 4 Qts clean make 5 dirty.
anyway run good gas it dosent realy cost that much more & your car will be much happyer
