Kooch is 'on the money' with his description of timing issues - worth investigating. There is a distinct difference between water injection and intercooling. Water injection lowers the in cylinder temperatures to prevent detonation - when water changes from liquid to gas it soaks up heat. Intercooling reduces the volume of air entering the cylinders and there by increasing its mass and energy potential - more oxygen molecules per volume you will still have to deal with the extra energy and heat this produces by water injection when you are on very high boost. Theoreticaly if you can cool the intake charge enough, and control in cylinder combustion temperatures you will not need to retard ignition as much ( all this basicaly does is to make the combustion less efficient and therefore cooler) and should be able to produce as much or more power but with less boost. I'm suprised at your setting of 4.2 bar for the RRFPR - this will be massive pressure under 28psi of boost (depending on the rate of rise)- you may be either be running out of fuel capacity from the pump but more likely you are maxing out the injectors and possibly running into the condition where there is so much fuel pressure that it actualy prevents the injectors from opening properly - either of these conditions will cause leaning out under this high boost. My final suggestion is that you get your car on a dyno and see what is happening - it's the only way you will be able to judge accuratley what you need to do to sort out your problem - as Kooch says there are lots of variables that need to be balanced to get it right.
