I'm confused now. Just when I was starting to build a mental picture of all this, the doc's comments toss it upside down...
Forgive the naivete but wouldn't substituting a larger fixed fpr such as a 3 bar be even worse for overfueling and washing? Isn't it rich at all conditions (except where the fuel map and need overlap)? I'm concerned with day to day driving performance and it would seem to me that the rrfpr - being more similar to typ. 2.5 fpr at low rpm and off boost accel would allow better fuel mileage and lessen overfueling bog - and provide more accurate fuel at boost conditions. At least for me, the way-high rpm leanout is less a concern than simply having a quick, high boosting daily driver.
Sorry if this redundant or misleading.
