The Ford pump is external. I have Shurflo pump made that do 150psi at about .9 gallons per minute, I normally only use them on large V-8s with superchargers. Noramlly with that amount of flow we use at least a 5 gallon tank and as large as 25 gallon.
As for ration of water to fuel. It is not as critical as you are trying to make it. Just changing the jet size on a 2c will do the job. If we want to have very accurate control we use the 2s that has the progamable MF2 controller. This allows us to map water flow in 3d on its own.
The Aquamist nozzles are only $16.00, so that makes it very affordable to make changes.
