...keep 'em comin' John.Sounds like you got some REAL rally/race prep/building experience under your belt,as opposed to armchair browsing of performance car mags etc. Theres good reason that when SAAB still had a factory rally team they used forged pistons,i.e.:1977 EMS rallycar w/ 16v prototype head-11.7:comp ratio!!! 48dcoe twin webers -220-230bhp @ 8500rpm...their choice was Mahle forged pistons for good reason i'm sure---i think(unsure) if the pikespeak car ran them...anyways,they lower reciprocating weight which is always a good thing...the most responsive engine is a low inertia engine!...Furthermore,as to the importation of swedish goodies, thats a service to be enthused & thankful about,man!-Like the short throw shifter GaryM imports from JorgenE,thats a piece postmodern art!(such good design it was copycatted)-also he brings in the 4spd rallybox crafted by Jorgen...I'm thankful that he thought of others & gave an oppurtunity at getting these things...In Sweden, they have things we still don't(development costs both time & $)-such ecu for c900 w/ reworked fuel curves & delete of 6200 rev limit,t16 headers and such things...i say"tack sa mycket" & ROCK ON!!!!
