As NHClimr in his Viggen and I in my 9-3 were toying around the other day at some relatively high speeds, I heard a thunk. A thunk you say? From there to the time I got home I kept hearing a similar noise all of a sudden.

I took a peek this morning and found that my Abbott rear swaybar actually cracked in two just on the inside of where you bolt it to the car. I'm lucky nothing bad happened considering it was at about 115mph on a highway bend. I'm very upset by this. I'm not even sure if I want them to make good and give me another. Why wouldn't the other ones do the same? This WAS an early prototype that they sold to me so perhaps there is an issue that they have since fixed.

Regardless, I thought this information would be useful to others.

As of this morning, I'm driving with the stock springs, Koni dampers, Abbott bushings, and Abbott braces, and now the stock swaybar that I had almost given to Baab.
