Thanks guys - in fact, that's what I would normally think - but if I have a piston failure severe enough to cause such massive crankcase pressure I'd suspect the car would barely run, right? I only stopped to let a friend who was driving behind me check the pressure of the spare tire he put on at the start of our drive home, and then he commented about the blue smoke. The car did behave perfectly normal then, and was very fast. I then did a full boost accel or two with my friend driving behind me to verify the smoke was coming from my car (which was the case), stopped and observed oil was indeed being thrown out the filler tube, and then I decided to drive home keeping th boost gauge needle in the athmospheric zone. I had no problems keeping up with motorway traffic then, with easy 80 mph cruising and gauge needle comfortably in the atmo zone, and everything seemed quite normal.
