Lower profile headlights for better airflow over IC?

Could you swap out the C900 headlights for something smaller, say a mid 90s chevy pickup or other car? Then you'd have a good size gap between the headlights and bumper. Would that get a better flow of cool air across the IC? You could use the other side for your air intake. I don't have time or the skill to try this but was wondering if any one had, and if it made a difference. Just a thought that crossed my mind while under the hood the other night. Maybe the gap would be too small to make a difference, and just look silly. Any thoughts?
