And then, you still have to find ways to bring all that torque on the tarmac with just the front wheels. Not worth it IMO - instead of spending thousands on a trans capable of taking the kind of torque that will only frustrate me on the road because I am peeling the tread of the front tires and not making real progress I'd rather maximize what -is- feasible and usable within the c900 concept. Before the newly rebuilt engine decided to call it a day I had significantly less than 300 hp and torque just within the capabilites of the 'box (boost fixed at ~1 bar per mbc) & I was banging the rev limiter in EVERY gear as fast as I could say 'holy $**t this thing flies'. First and second were pretty useless already :-). A couple of hundred extra rpm will be a lot more useful than another wad of low/midrange torque...
And before you ask, suspension on this car is completely & utterly sorted with grip and balance far, far beyond what the stock item can deliver.
Happy Saabing,
Eric
