now comes the tricky question: is throttle diameter/intake volume/intake taper even something to be concerned with in a forced induction environment? so far i've got two factors involved in our manifold choice:
1. tps adaptability - how hard will it be to find a throttle body with integrated pot style tps that will bolt up to the manifold in question and/or how hard will it be to modify said components to work together.
2. injector bosses - will the manifold be easily usable/modifiable to use the appropriate style injectors & rail that are associated with the aftermarket dfi.
and now the third:
runner/plenum wise, is this a good turbo manifold.
the first two questions you have done a great job of helping with, now for the third...the car will be about 8.5:1 static compression, so at low revs, off turbo, this SHOULD matter, but with the turbo spooled up, does the manifold volume/design really matter that much?
thanks again,
jason
