I love diesel and I love Saab. How does one offset the crankshaft from the tranny/oilpan to prevent it from hitting, or does that even need to be done? Seems like this might work if I make an aluminum adapter plate from 1/4 or 1/2 inch stock, (5-6mm or 10-12mm stock).
Are those diesels available in the USA?
Are they amenable to turbocharging?
Will the c900 tranny accept and survive the torque associated with diesel power?
Just in the idea stage here, but I am really interested in this.
