Those seats are probably the best racing seats I have ever seen. Gary said I could take a seat, but I was all wet from a dip in the pool, so I didn't. I felt the leather though.. and, oh that was smooth. I agree, if I was looking for some new racing seats, and had a job that paid more than like $8/hr, I'd go for them. The Viggen seats are the next best thing IMHO.
$845?! I was quoted around/over $1000! If I would have known it was going to be that affordable, I would have gone the Mitsubishi route. I may give Turbochargers.com a call tomorrow and see why they gave me such a weird quote. I went with the Lesco T3, which Dave gave me a great price on, but I wanted the Mitsu more. Oh well. When this turbo dies, or when I win the lottery... Mitsu for me! ( :
Let me know how the 4-speed w/LSD works out for you. My tranny is still holding up well, no whine, no signs of wear, etc, but I know, eventually with my engine pulling at it, it'll go. When it does, there is no exception that I'll get the Jorgen setup from Gary. Gary was telling me it shaves off a pretty considerable time off of your 1/4 mile time.... 1/4 mile speaking anyway. Nothing like 3 seconds, but still, very impressive!
As for the SD head... I've heard some bad things about them. Have you looked into Lesco/Rhich/etc to have it done? During one occasion, which may have been a fluke or not, an SD ported and polished "Red Head" was flow bench tested, and it actually flowed worse than a completely stock 2.1 liter head. Talk to Dave at Lesco about it, he'll tell you what he can do. Just my two cents on that matter.
