I got the crank sensor/wheel assembly that was used on the race engine, with the DI (OK, I paid another 50 euro, but they were specially fabricated by Frank and bolt right up to the back of the crank pulley -that is if you don't have AC :-) and timing cover).
Get this - it's a 57 (58?) tooth Trionic wheel (at least, the outer part - it's welded to a wheel that's welded to yet another hub which fits precisely into the crank pulley indentation - a nice piece of precision machining)! Ask Damien - he was there when Frank showed us the gear, and we unbolted it right off the engine of that (sadly departed) race car...
I made some pics of the set up, which will undoubtedly make it onto the TTE site once I get of my lazy a** and have them developed (have a whole roll of shots from Sweedspeed's workshop and parts, too).
I think the Haltec set up used the same crank sensor and MAP sensor as the DI, but ran independently otherwise - just like LH did, before.
About the white/black wire to the APC - I just noticed in the pinout table there is no knock sensor input with this DI. I bet that's what it gets from APC, then...
